Overview
The Full Arch
Revolution.
All-On-Implants — also known as 'Teeth-On-Implants' or 'All-On-4®' — are terms used to describe a full-arch dental prosthesis supported by implants. The prosthetic material, number of implants, and the method of connection varies considerably between cases.
This procedure is suited to those with a severely compromised dentition — missing numerous teeth, severe gum disease, heavily decayed teeth, or dentures that no longer provide sufficient retention and comfort. All-On-Implants can significantly improve quality of life in terms of both function and aesthetics.
At Element Dental, each case is individually tailored in terms of the type of prosthesis and number of implants recommended. Typically we use 4–6 implants per arch and, where possible, we use a multi-step approach to allow time for the implants to fully integrate with the bone.

Important Considerations
Real World
Experience.
All-On-Implants can be transformative — but it is important to have realistic expectations and understand the process before proceeding.
Nothing Is Better Than Nature
Some patients assume All-On-Implants is equivalent to having natural teeth. In reality, an implant-supported arch is a prosthetic set of teeth that rests on or slightly above the gums, leaving a space for cleaning. This margin must be carefully concealed and some patients may require ridge augmentation surgery prior to the procedure to provide an aesthetic outcome.
Recovery Takes Time
While images may suggest immediate results, full integration of the implants with the bone can take several months. Recovery timelines, healing responses, and final aesthetics are influenced by bone quality, oral hygiene, and individual health factors.
Individual Outcomes Vary
Each case is influenced by numerous factors including oral hygiene, bone quality and quantity, bone regenerative health, and lifestyle factors such as smoking and alcohol consumption. Risks such as infection or implant failure may require further treatment in some cases.
All-On-Implants Is Not for Everyone
We thoroughly assess your risks, circumstances, and health history before recommending treatment. This is a significant procedure and your long-term outcome depends on careful planning, an experienced team, and your commitment to ongoing maintenance. Treatment risks can be found here.
We work with what nature has gifted you — and where we can, we save what can be saved.
All-On-Implants can be genuinely life-changing, but case selection matters deeply.
It is a real commitment of time, recovery, and ongoing care. The prosthesis will need replacing every 15–20 years, and maintenance is lifelong.
Every patient deserves to understand the full picture — and we will always give you ours.
