Booking, Location & Hours

Appointments can be made online through any "Book Online" or "Book a Consultation" button on our website, or by calling us directly on (02) 4367 7677. If you have specific day or time requirements and can't find a suitable slot in our online system, please call — we can often make accommodations that aren't reflected in our standard availability.

Your first check up & clean appointment is designed to be unhurried. After settling in with a tea or water and completing your medical history form, you'll meet your dentist for a comprehensive examination — including a full assessment of your teeth, gums, bite and any areas of concern. We'll take any necessary X-rays and talk you through our findings honestly, without pressure. After having a clean and polish, you'll leave with a clear picture of your dental health and a treatment plan that's entirely tailored to you.

Yes — we're currently welcoming new patients across our practitioners. We ask that you arrive a little early to settle in with a tea or water and complete a medical history form. If you take multiple medications, a printed or written list is helpful. If you have a health fund, please remember to bring your physical card — most funds require it to be swiped through our HICAPS terminal at the time of your visit.

We're located at 200 The Central Coast Highway, Erina — in the heart of the Erina CBD, within the Element Building. There is a dedicated car space for patients, along with additional undercover customer parking in the Element Building car park. The entry point is on Karalta Lane, just past Harvey Norman on the other side of the street.

We're open Monday through Saturday, with extended hours on Tuesdays. Hours vary by day — please refer to the hours listed on our home page for the most current schedule. We also frequently accommodate after-hours emergencies outside of our posted times — just call us.

If you're experiencing a dental emergency, please call us on (02) 4367 7677 — we do our best to accommodate same-day appointments wherever possible. For serious after-hours emergencies, we recommend attending your local emergency department or medical centre.

Comfort & Wellbeing

You're not alone, and we take dental anxiety seriously. We offer customised care tailored to individual needs — including prioritising treatment into manageable sessions, allowing additional time at each appointment, and offering the full range of sedation options from oral sedation through to IV sedation (general anaesthesia is available by referral through hospital). Our treatment rooms have televisions on the ceiling with noise-cancelling headphones, and the practice itself has been thoughtfully designed to minimise overstimulation and create a genuinely calming environment.

Children are warmly welcomed at Element Dental, and we're committed to making every visit a positive experience they can carry with them throughout life. We recommend an introductory visit from around two years of age — a brief, low-pressure examination with guidance for parents on habits, diet, and brushing technique. We also bulk bill eligible patients under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, meaning no out-of-pocket cost for qualifying children.

Most of our patients are on a 6 or 12-month routine, depending on their individual dental risk profile and rate of build-up. Your dentist will recommend the right interval for you based on your oral health needs.

Payments, Funds & Medicare

Cost is very much based on the individual — all of our treatments are uniquely tailored to you. Our pricing is fully transparent, which is a unique service we provide, and can be explored in our Price Guide.

We'll present you with a personalised treatment plan with pricing as accurate as possible, and work with you to find a path that suits both your dental needs and your budget.

The best first step is a comprehensive check-up, where we can give you a clear picture of your dental health and the investment involved.

We accept all major health funds. We are also a Preferred Provider for HCF and RT Health, which means eligible members on the More For Teeth program receive two check & clean appointments per year with no out-of-pocket expense.

Yes. We offer interest-free payment plans through Denticare, as well as Zip Money for treatments under $2,000. We believe cost should never be a barrier to the care you need — our team is happy to help find a plan that works for you. Learn more about payment options →

Yes — we bulk bill for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, which means eligible patients pay nothing out of pocket. Medicare also provides some coverage when specialist services are involved, such as anaesthetists or maxillofacial surgeons.
